Training
Since 2019, the University of New Mexico's Clinical and Translational Science Center has hosted annual HERN trainings, in partnership with HERN faculty from several intitutions. These trainings are supported by an award from the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences, National
Institutes of Health (grant number UL1TR001449).
- 1.0 Training, offered virtually, provides an introduction to HERN and DIPEx methodology
- 2.0 Training, offered in person in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is for those who have completed the 1.0 training and want to go more in-depth.
- Trainings are offered in May and alternate between 1.0 and 2.0.

As of 2024, we have welcomed 183 trainees from 29 institutions, 14 states and Washington, DC, and three countries.
